Policy 2018-2019 Immigration Topic Card File Part 1

The 2018-2019 topic for policy is: “The United States federal government should substantially reduce its restrictions on legal immigration to the United States.” This aff is about how survivors of intimate partner violence are negatively affected by restrictions on immigration. I will be writing an explanation of the aff as well as why it is strategic next week (the article will be posted on June 15th). Obviously by no means is this a complete aff. Rather, this card file is meant to be a starting point for research as well as a resource that provides proof of a literature base for this specific aff.
